Hi-Tech Metals provides sheet metal design and programming support in Auckland, helping turn your drawings and ideas into components ready for manufacture.
3D models and drawings are our preferred format, however our team can also work from customer-supplied DXF and DWG files, using our programming software to prepare components for laser cutting, folding and further fabrication.
For straightforward components, we can assist with drawing and programming in-house. Where more complex design or engineering work is required, we can work from drawings supplied by your engineer or designer to manufacture the finished components accurately to specification.
By combining programming with our in-house laser cutting and CNC folding capabilities, we can plan components with the manufacturing process in mind — helping identify potential issues before production and keeping work moving efficiently from drawing through to finished part.
Programming for accurate folding
Where components require folding, 3D models and accurate folding specifications can help our team plan the complete manufacturing process before production begins. Programming information can be carried through to our CNC press brakes, helping ensure folded components are produced accurately and consistently to your specifications.
